The 6,000 square meter solar park is expected to produce 1.3 megawatt hours of electricity per year, which the EurothermenResort wants to use to cover its own needs, the company reported in a press conference on the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony on Monday.
The facility, which covers around 400 parking spaces, is scheduled to be completed in December. In addition, the number of electric charging stations for day guests will be increased by 15 to 25. The Eurothermen operate three locations in Upper Austria: Bad Schallerbach, Bad Ischl and Bad Hall.
