“Ortner’s Resort” is not only the first five-star hotel in Bad Füssing, but also the only hotel of this category with its own thermal spring and spa in the whole of Bavaria.
“It has always been my dream to turn my grandparents’ former farm into a luxury hotel, and this dream has now become a reality”said owner Bettina Ortner-Zwicklbauer at a small ceremony to mark the official handover of the hotel stars.
She is “overjoyed and full of gratitude about this new milestone in the history of the house and my family”said Ortner-Zwicklbauer, who runs the hotel together with hotel director Christian Schauberger.

Bad Füssing’s mayor Tobias Kurz and spa and tourism manager Daniela Leipelt also congratulated on the five stars. Local boss Kurz spoke of one “historic event for the Bad Füssing location”. He praised the owners’ courage to invest and their commitment to team spirit.
