A musical and artistic spectacle of a special class took place at the weekend in Rohrbach-Berg with the first international brass music festival. 600 musicians from Italy, Poland, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria thrilled more than 2,000 listeners with their performances in the center and at the sports facility. initiator Harald Haslmayr with his “Tattoo music & event GmbH” as organizer is satisfied with the premiere and raised hopes of a new edition on Friday.
The absolute highlight were the marching music parades of the individual bands at the “upper Austria Tattoo” in the Rohrbach-Berg sports arena. The bands from Rohrbach-Berg, Arnreit, Bad Leonfelden and Oberwang, the 32nd Budapest Garrison Regiment and the Warsaw Police Representative Orchestra impressed in front of full ranks. The Pipes & Drums from Czestochowa in Poland received special applause with their bagpipe sounds, including Amazing Grace goosebumps. The Bersaglieri di Lecco from Italy also impressed with their “running performances” as the fastest music band in the world.
Impressed by this, prominent figures from politics and business, such as the State Secretary, were at the forefront of the numerous guests Claudia Plakolmstate governor Thomas StelzerPresident of the State Parliament Max Hiegelsberger and former vice-chancellor Reinhold Mitterlehner. The board members of the Forchhammer Foundation also swayed along to the beat as important sponsors Christoph Wagner and Odette Ullrich, Wolfgang Hochreiterowner of the Hochreiter Group from Bad Leonfelden and himself an active member of the Bad Leonfelden music band, Biohort boss Josef PriglingerDept Luke Dikany and chamberlain Markus Rubasch from Schlägl Abbey as well Peter Weissenbergerboard member of the Raiffeisenbank Region Rohrbach.
