According to CIU projections, the amount of money has not yet been defined, although it could range between $3 and $5. The initiative is promoted within the framework of the Voucher Plan and has the objective of meeting the goals imposed by the Ministry of Environment which plans to recover 50% of recycled packaging and 35% of each material by 2025.
In that sense, the secretary of the CIU environment commission, Agustín Tassani, He told El Observador that the chamber carried out an international call for bids for companies that agree to operate and manage the reimbursement system and that it will be awarded in a month and a half.
