The Austrian Association for Gardening and Landscaping selects the best projects every year. GartenZauner was awarded gold in all three categories submitted. GartenZauner’s projects have a strong focus on sustainability and resource conservation. In the category of private gardens up to 250 m² with the project title “The Art of the Fugue” it is a small, shady courtyard in Linz. This was transformed into a green oasis by GartenZauner. Since the inner courtyard is located in an underground car park, the area was made usable with walkable paving strips and the wide joints were lushly planted.
The second project in the private garden category over 250 m² with the title “Sustainable for generations” is a farm in St. Florian am Inn, where the younger generation has taken over and needs and requirements have changed. Sustainability and resource conservation were top priorities. An old silo was converted into a swimming pond. Existing substructure material from paths and demolition material formed the basis for drought-tolerant perennial beds around the swimming pond. A Mediterranean-looking planting developed that does not require any additional irrigation.
GartenZauner also won gold in the corporate design category. It is an excellent recognition for the consistent work on the brand and appearance of GartenZauner. “We are proud of these awards – they testify to our consistent work, craftsmanship, creative solutions for our customers and the quality of the training of our employees. It is a success for every single employee at GartenZauner, because we are only able to do this as a team Capable of top performance,” says proud company boss Wolfgang Zauner.
