28 heart families with a total of more than 100 family members took a tractor tour through the large area with life-size dinosaur replicas, dug for fossils in the huge sand pit or raced in go-karts.
Parents also used the heart children’s meeting for discussions and an exchange of experiences with other affected people.
The Herzkinder association is a contact point for all non-medical concerns and concerns for children, young people and their families. The association opened a teddy house in Linz in 2008 and another in Vienna in 2015. There are information centers for cardiac children and their relatives in all federal states.
