For unknown reasons, there was a traffic accident between a truck and a car on Wednesday morning, and the car overturned. Three fire departments, the Red Cross, the police and Asfinag were alerted to a traffic accident with a person trapped at around 7:17 a.m. Both the FF Allhaming, the FF Sattledt and the FF Pucking-Hasenufer were called up for action, but the FF Sattledt was canceled on the way to the scene of the accident.
The driver was able to be freed from the car by first responders before the emergency services arrived and was treated by the Red Cross. The rescue helicopter that arrived was able to take off again without a patient. The A1 was closed in the area of the accident for around half an hour to three quarters of an hour and traffic was temporarily redirected via the Allhaming rest area. The fire brigades then cleaned the accident site and supported the towing company in recovering the accident car.
