After a rather bumpy start to the season, FC Andorf got back on the road to success. On Saturday, coach Bernhard Straif’s ambitious team celebrated a confident 2-0 win against Pettenbach and thus their second win in a row. After conceding ten goals in the first four games of the season, they recently kept zero at the back twice. The Andorfers want to continue this mini-series tomorrow (7 p.m.) in the away match in Bad Wimsbach. The past games between the two teams were always closely fought – something similar can be expected this time too.

Esternberg also has a difficult away game ahead of them. After two defeats in a row, the Sauwaldveilchen will be visiting Pettenbach on Saturday (5 p.m.). In order not to lose touch with the middle of the table early on, points in the Almtal are almost mandatory. Last season, Esternberger celebrated two complete successes against Pettenbach.

Schalchen achieved this on Saturday for the first time since the first matchday. With the 3-0 win against the previously unbeaten Peuerbacher, they have regained their self-confidence and can head to Schwanenstadt tomorrow in good spirits. Schalchen has a good record against the newly promoted team: their last defeat was more than four years ago.
