Last December, the student is said to have harassed a 17-year-old girl in a Lower Austrian bar in Wiener Neustadt and abused her in the toilet. At the trial he denied this and claimed everything was consensual. A verdict is expected this afternoon.
The Burgenlander had only met the young person that evening while partying in the bar. He is said to have invited her out for a drink and approached her. According to the prosecution, when the 17-year-old went to the toilet, he followed her, forced his way into the cubicle and abused her.
Everything was consensual, the 18-year-old replied in court. The young person danced at him and approached him herself. They went to the toilet together to cuddle. He went to another club and when he came back the police were already waiting for him.
The 17-year-old was questioned about the defendant in camera. Afterwards, the friends with whom the two were in the restaurant are supposed to testify in court.
