The defendant first confessed, then accused his daughter

The defendant initially confessed to the crime, but justified it by citing self-defense. But she later accused their 13-year-old daughter. The criminal case is now in its second legal stage. In the spring, the jury acquitted the 32-year-old with a vote of 6:2, but the professional judges rated this as a “mistake”. The case went to the Supreme Court, which ordered a new trial. Yesterday, too, the defendant maintained that she did not commit the crime, it was her daughter.

The girl, who is not of criminal responsibility and could not be prosecuted anyway, denied this in her interview and described that everyday life with her mother was always difficult.

Court psychiatrist Heidi Kastner certifies that the accused mother has a so-called “histrionic disorder” – she always wants to be the center of attention. This also explains why she lied to those around her that she was suffering from a number of serious illnesses. “But she knows what is right and what is wrong,” Kastner said. The defendant will “sooner or later get into conflict with everyone she lives with.”
