Another motorcycle accident in Upper Austria ended fatally: After a 30-year-old biker had an accident in Micheldorf (Kirchdorf district) on Thursday evening (the OÖN reported), a motorcycle driver of the same age died in Dietach on Saturday night.
The 30-year-old from Steyr was driving his red Yamaha on the B 309 in the direction of Steyr around 11:50 p.m. For reasons that are still unclear, the driver left the road and crashed into a stone wall. The impact was so violent that the man was thrown onto the opposite road.

The emergency doctor could only determine that the motorcycle driver was dead. It is still being determined whether the 30-year-old died as a result of the impact or whether other vehicles were involved. The autopsy of the body was ordered by the Steyr public prosecutor’s office. The motorcycle was also seized.
The B 309 was closed for a good three hours.
