According to a statement by the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, on his official channel on the Telegram messaging network, President Zelensky’s apartment will be auctioned along with another hundred nationalized “objects”, the news agency reported. According to Konstantinov, it is planned to auction “facilities of sanatoriums and tourist complexes, commercial and retail premises” for about 800 million rubles ($8.26 million).
“The Anti-Terrorist Commission (of the Crimean Parliament) continues working to identify the properties of Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea,” said the president of the Chamber, who focused the focus on those he considers “anti-Russian.”
“We will not allow this public, which sponsors murders of Russians and supports the terrorist regime in Kiev, to make money from our residents. And then we will transfer the objects to our decent owners,” Konstantinov added.
To date, Russian authorities in Crimea have held eight auctions of nationalized properties in which they managed to raise some 815 million rubles ($8.42 million).
