For reasons that are still unknown, around 3:45 p.m. there was a fight in the courtyard of an inn in Uttendorf between around ten Romanian citizens who had previously played football together.
A 22-year-old from the Braunau district was injured and taken to the Braunau hospital after initial treatment. A 23-year-old, also from the Braunau district, who wanted to help the 22-year-old was slightly injured in the altercation. The perpetrators then fled in two cars in an unknown direction.
