For the summer program, the company recorded 13.7 million bookings, five percent more than in the previous year and almost as many as before the Corona crisis, as TUI announced on Tuesday. The average prices are eight percent higher than in the previous year and are 27 percent higher than summer 2019, the last high season before the outbreak of the corona pandemic.

“Due to increased demand, the season will be extended, particularly in Greece and Turkey,” confirmed TUI. In the financial year that runs until the end of September, the Hanover-based group wants to significantly increase the previous year’s operating result of a good 400 million euros. The annual balance sheet will be published on December 6th. TUI has also identified positive signs for the coming financial year. “We are pleased that the positive momentum will continue for the 2023/24 winter program with higher prices at the same time.” The program has been expanded and bookings are 15 percent higher than last year’s winter season with prices four percent higher.
