During the first week of study, from October 2nd to 6th, students can take part in campus tours and scavenger hunts.
From the viewing platform at the Somnium to the Science Park, a short break in the floating café at the university pond and in the cafeteria, then to the library and the learning center. In this way, first-year students get to know their new university together with their fellow students. The campus tours take place every day of the week at different times for each focus. Games and fun shouldn’t be neglected either, which is why there is a colorful program for first-year students throughout the week, ranging from a cinema evening to a beach volleyball tournament and a cafeteria festival. The JKU basketball team, the “JKU Astros”, is also celebrating its debut.
There is also a goodie bag for all first-year students in Kepler Hall, which is available upon presentation of the voucher, which was sent by email after completing admission to study.
