The four perpetrators, aged between 19 and 38, are suspected of having committed several thefts. They were observed by police officers during a theft on Friday around 5 p.m. in a shop in Steyregg. When the suspects’ car was checked, the loot was confiscated; the perpetrators had additional stolen goods in a backpack.
In addition to burglary tools, the police also found two black balaclavas and binoculars in the car. An e-bike that the gang had stolen was lying dismantled in the vehicle. The four men were arrested and taken to the police detention center in Linz.
