The Road Corporation of Uruguay (CVU) reported that, given the workers’ strike, the toll will be paid under the modality of Automatic Collection.

“Automatic charging involves charging through the account that customers have for electronic toll and as is usual for those vehicles that do not have the electronic toll device, they will be charged through reading the tuition sending to Sucive the transit charge for the toll,” said the agency’s statement.

The CVU recalled that, based on the new toll regulations, approved by two decrees, “the transits sent for collection in Sucive, if they are not canceled within a period of 60 days from when they were generated, will have surcharges.” In this sense, the entity stressed that it is convenient to pay before 60 days through the Sucive website or through collection networks.
