It was ceremoniously opened on June 16th, today the Upper Austrian opened. Gardening time in Wolfsegg is over. The goal set was 50,000 visitors – this mark was achieved, much to the delight of the organizers led by managing director Manfred Ettinger.
Regional Agricultural Councilor Michaela Langer-Weninger (VP) also draws a positive conclusion: “The concept worked. The Upper Austrian Garden Time, as the new garden festival format for the state of Upper Austria, has passed its baptism of fire.” The community of Wolfsegg with its penchant for diversity thrilled visitors. The continuation of the “Garden Time” format is almost certain.
The extensive, 50-event cultural program on the panoramic stage with stars from theatre, literature and music, such as Seern and Wolfgang Ambros, has also proven itself and was an ideal addition, says Ettinger: “The combination of garden time and culture has been a complete success. “
During the planning, emphasis was placed on ensuring that the region would benefit permanently from the investments. Almost all projects remain intact even after the 100 days of the event.
