In wonderful running weather, a total of more than 140 participants took part. Young people in particular showed their enthusiasm for sports in Raab: a total of almost 70 young people took part in the run. Most of the starters – and also winners – came from the organizer, Union Raab, and the IGLA long life sports union.
A real crime thriller then took place in the men’s main run over 7.5 kilometers. In the end, Andorfer Julian Kreutzer (Union Natternbach) prevailed in a duel against Raab local hero Peter Mayr (CLR Sauwald) with a time of 25:02.6. In the women’s category, Ingrid Materna from SVG Ruhstorf won with a time of 32:44.5 ahead of Irina Rieder from Union Raab, volleyball section. In the hobby run (4.5 km), Katharina Kastner from TSV St. Konrad won in 22:00.4 minutes ahead of Monika Lindlbauer (Union Raab, Tennis) from Raab. The men’s victory went to Raaber Daniel Wintersteiger (volleyball section). With a time of 17:52.2 minutes, he came out just ahead of Daniel Aichinger from LG Innviertel.
