A total of 28 groups of children between the ages of two and 14 were accompanied during the holiday season by 50 dedicated holiday carers from the Innviertel Daycare Association. The summer holidays in particular are a challenge for many parents: alternative care must be provided for nine weeks. It was not easy to successfully look after 300 children: this industry also suffers from a shortage of skilled workers, which made finding staff difficult. According to the association, thanks go to the motivated staff and the companies and communities who were very cooperative and with whom we worked.
