Seven electric buses for city companies

The supervisory board of Stadtbetriebe Steyr (SBS) approved the purchase of seven electric buses at its most recent meeting. This means that a third of Steyr’s route network can be operated electrically from as early as 2025. The supervisory board also approved the purchase of four additional electric buses, subject to funding. With eleven buses, half of all public buses would be electric. According to plan, these four buses should not have been purchased until 2027.
