FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl is threatening consequences because of the Taliban visit by the liberal ex-EU MP Andreas Mölzer and the former FPÖ National Council member Johannes Hübner. He said yesterday that he wanted to talk to the two of them after their return: “My answer is that I do not exclude anything on the subject of exclusion.”
The FPÖ had nothing to do with the meeting, emphasized Kickl. “I think this visit to the Taliban is incredibly stupid. I don’t even know how anyone could come up with such an idea”said Kickl about Mölzer and Hübner’s trip to Afghanistan and their meeting with the “Foreign Minister” of the internationally unrecognized Taliban regime.
“The two gentlemen, Mölzer and Hübner, are not FPÖ politicians, but were FPÖ politicians”says Kickl. Both “Political pensioners” have neither significance nor influence in the FPÖ.
Nevertheless, as mentioned, Kickl wants to deal with it “Retiree trip to Afghanistan” deal with it: With Hübner first, he hasn’t been in political retirement for that long. With Mölzer there is one anyway “troubled relationship”Kickl noted.
