The Urfahran market will be ceremoniously opened on Saturday, September 30th, at 10 a.m. by Linz Mayor Klaus Luger and City Councilor Doris Lang-Mayerhofer in front of the information building, with the Neukirchner pillory shooters firing a salute. Then the traditional tour through the market area invites you to the “Da Wirt 4s Fest” marquee, to the sounds of the Linz Federal Railway Music under bandmaster Helmut Steinkogler.
One hour free travel: On the opening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., all showman shops will be offering an hour of free fun to celebrate the day.

Senior raffle and dance, October 3rd: On Tuesday, Vice Mayor Karin Hörzing, City Councilor Doris Lang-Mayerhofer and the ARGE Urfahranermarkt invite you to the “Da Wirt 4s Fest” marquee from 12 p.m., where there will be music for dancing. A tombola offers lots of prizes, provided by the exhibitors at the Urfahran market. Walter Witzany accompanies the afternoon as moderator
Family day on October 4th: On Wednesday there are reduced prices everywhere until 7 p.m.

ÖH semester opening on October 4th: On Wednesday from 8 p.m., the “Der Wirt 4s Fest” marquee will become a party zone for students, who can celebrate and dance with free entry into the new semester, cheered on by the 17 musicians from the band Karambolage. Reduced prices apply to students on the rides and stalls. Don’t forget your student ID!

Day of Inclusion on October 5th: On Thursday, presenter, cabaret artist and author Claudia Em will present her new book on the subject of breakfast in the media café from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., which was created with the studios and art workshops of the Hartheim Institute and the Diakonie House Bethanien in Gallneukirchen. All cakes and tarts on Thursday are thanks to the “Inclusive Culinary Catering Company”.
ARGE fireworks on October 6th: The sky over Linz will be lit up by a large fireworks display on Friday at 9.30 p.m.
church service on October 6th: The ecumenical mass will take place again at the Autodrom Straßmeier on Friday at 11 a.m.
Ship tour on the MS Walrus: Directly next to the Ferris wheel is the MS Walross, which invites you to take one-hour tours at 5:30 p.m. (except on October 6th, 7th and 8th). Info: www.walross.at
Nightlines: The tram line N82 (University–SolarCity), the bus line N83 (Hafen–Neue Heimat) and the tram line N84 (Main Station–Schloss Traun) run every half hour between 12:20 a.m. and 5 a.m.
