The leader spoke about the evolution of employment at a press conference and specified that there were 50,000 jobs that were lost between 2017 and 2019, to which another 60,000 were added in 2020, linked to the effects of the pandemic.

Against that, he contrasted that between 2021 and so far this year, the country managed to recover those 110,000 jobs. He even asserted that “the number of workers in the labor market is the highest since records existed.”

Unemployment increases among young people
