In 1963, Guido Salvagnini founded the mechanical engineering company of the same name in Milan. The innovative sheet metal bending machines are now indispensable for global corporations such as Schindler, Kone, Zumtobel and Viessmann. The Ennsdorf site is the world’s largest production facility for bending centers and is heading for another record year this year. The decisive basis for this success is the more than 450 employees. There was a big celebration recently. It was not only the company’s anniversary, but also a thank you party for the employees and their families. 1,400 guests were able to watch live how precisely and quickly fish smoking cabinets and tablet holders as giveaways are produced on Salvagnini machines. Folkshilfe, the local grandmasters of “Quetschn-Synthi-Pop”, brought the atmosphere to a boil with their concert. Even 150 children didn’t get bored with a varied program.
The Salvagnini location in Ennsdorf is the internal competence center for automated bending. Last year’s sales record of 143 million euros will be surpassed this year.
