They wanted to know how the athletes feel about adapting their behavior in the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park and what solutions they have suggested for better coexistence between bikers, forest owners and hunters.
Two thirds of those surveyed said they occasionally cycle on forbidden paths. More than half adhere to locks when doing woodwork. Late labeling was criticized. Almost all respondents were in favor of more legally usable routes. But most bikers also recognize the needs of the other side.
The survey is part of the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park’s visitor guidance initiative “Respectful Togetherness”.
