In Straßwalchen (Flachgau) a tractor collided with a cyclist on the B147 on Tuesday morning. According to police, the 69-year-old biker from the Braunau district died at the scene of the accident despite attempts to resuscitate him by first responders.
The 43-year-old tractor driver from Flachgau stated that the Upper Austrian in front of him suddenly cycled into the middle of the road. This is where the collision occurred. An expert is now investigating the cause of the accident.
