The trio formed two years ago as a spin-off from the band The Teachers. Wolfgang Gruber (saxophone), Werner Eder (bass) and Harald Pröll (drums and percussion) have made it their mission to develop their own compositions for trio playing. Each band member is responsible for the themes of the individual pieces as well as for the improvisations. The compositions range from Latin and more classical jazz compositions to strictly through-composed passages with often surprising, exciting twists. In addition to Triangoli and the Teachers, each of the three musicians is regularly involved in other bands and projects in the Rohrbach district. The concert on Saturday in the Kunsthalle Aigen-Schlägl starts at 8 p.m.
