On Friday at 8 p.m., the trio “Radian” will present their new album “Distorted Rooms,” which was released in September on the “Thrill Jockey” label in Chicago. With a new focus on abstracted motifs, the Viennese musicians approach the guitar in a way that is more reminiscent of electronic music.
Samuel Yirga and his band will take you to Africa on Saturday from 8 p.m. At the “Ethio Music Night” the aspiring artist plays music from his home country. On the piano he follows in the footsteps of the numerous Ethiopian jazz musicians who coined the term “Ethio-Jazz”.
