85 Upper Austrians took part in the OÖN garden election 2023: large gardens, small gardens, pleasure gardens, romantic flower oases, multicultural gardens, gardens as sources of strength, for recharging your batteries and many, many flower paradises on your doorstep.
The editors from the Life department were allowed to visit many of these oases and were often amazed. The winners of the election, which has already taken place for the seventh time, have now been chosen and will be chosen at a big final event on Tuesday, October 17th, from 5:30 p.m. in the Promenaden Galleries Linz of the OÖNachrichten. The awards ceremony begins at 6 p.m. There are vouchers from Biohort and Seca as prizes.
Of course, the main juror, organic gardener Karl Ploberger, will also be there, presenting the prizes personally and visiting the winning garden next spring – this year he marveled at the garden of Peter Petermeir and Christine Zahrhuber in Eferding, who won the garden choice last year.
At the celebratory closing event on October 17th, OÖN organic gardener Ploberger will take the evening’s guests on a magical journey to the most beautiful gardens in the world and will answer gardening questions from the audience.
