He was able to make the emergency call himself and was flown to the hospital after being rescued from the impassable terrain. The police is now looking for witnesses.
The accident happened shortly before 5 p.m. on the L54 towards Thüringerberg. The 53-year-old was flown to the Feldkirch State Hospital in an emergency helicopter. Witnesses are asked to contact the Thuringia police station on 0043 59 133 8109.
