The body of an 82-year-old man was found on Thursday evening in Geretsberg, Braunau district. Alois Ebner, spokesman for the Ried public prosecutor’s office, confirmed this to the OÖN late on Thursday evening. “The investigation was started by the murder team of the State Criminal Police Office. The man’s body had several stab wounds. A carer of the victim was arrested. She is considered an urgent suspect. Murder is being investigated,” says Ebner. Nothing can yet be said about a possible motive or background to the crime. More information will be available later on Friday.
