Anton Mirolybov, the basketball coach of the OCS Swans Gmunden, is difficult to please. Even after the dream start with the Supercup triumph over BC Vienna, the Finn found a fly in the ointment. “We have to be better in order to win in Klosterneuburg. The key elements are the rebound and the team defense,” said Mirolybov before today’s guest game in Happyland (5.30 p.m.), where the newly formed Dukes are at home with a tailwind. After all, they got off to a perfect start with the away win over the Raiffeisen Flyers Wels. “We need this self-confidence to be able to compete against the best team in the league,” says coach Damir Zeleznik.
The Welsers are the favorites in Eisenstadt today (6 p.m.) and they won both duels last season. “The analysis after the Klosterneuburg match was really tough, we will learn the appropriate lessons from it,” emphasized Flyers coach Sebastian Waser. “We are ready,” assured Renato Poljak.
