Especially his friend Sergey, whom he met at a camp in Norway. Like Glatz, Sergey is physically impaired and relies on his wheelchair most of the time.

Among other things, Glatz launched a call for donations on his blog (lebenmithandicap.at) to be able to bring Sergey to a mutual friend in Norway – with success. The board of the Dachstein World Heritage Lions Club awarded Glatz the highest possible award for his commitment: the Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Now the Goiserer in Linz has once again been honored for his willingness to help.

He received the Lions Sustainability Award at the Palais Kaufmännischer Verein because he had managed to “sustainably help” his friend in the midst of a cruel war. The two young men are still in friendly contact.
