The very well-attended Steyr Dragon Boat Race event and a chamber concert enabled Club 41 to support three other projects with more than 15,000 euros. This support shows us that the entire commitment of everyone responsible is paying off and that Club 41 Styria is fulfilling its regional, social responsibility.
Steyr emergency shelter: As association B29, the Steyr emergency shelter runs a new day care center in Wehrgrabengasse, which gives homeless people the opportunity to stay during the day. This is intended to improve integration and communication among visitors. Here clients can prepare meals or have a chat. The club donated a significant amount of money to this facility for the initial furnishing of the furniture.
Streetwork Steyr-Mitte: There are several street workers in Steyr who are easily accessible to young people in various hot spots as support and contact persons. In order to be present on the streets, street workers have previously had to rely on public transport, i.e. city buses. In order to significantly reduce travel times, the service club equipped the street workers with two high-quality e-bikes. The company E-Mobility supported this campaign. In addition, one of the street workers also works as a helmsman at the annual dragon boat race.
Coverage of costs for treatment: All club members are happy to be able to provide little Edvin with special treatment that is not covered by health insurance or private insurance. The little boy suffers from a rare genetic defect, which will hopefully be improved with the help of the service club and will help the little one and his family. Edvin, like every other child, is looking forward to a carefree time in kindergarten.
The Club 41 Styria is committed to holding charity events to support social aid projects. It is made up of former Round Table members and their friends.
