The Union of Meat Sellers (UVC) will advise the interior butcher shops that are being hit by the border crisis resulting from the exchange difference with Argentina.
The UCV seeks to work together with traditional establishments, especially those located directly on the border of the coast.
The UCV seeks to provide butcher shops with financial, fiscal, management and legal information tools to better face the crisis due to the price gap due to the exchange difference between both countries.
The president of the UCV, Hebert Faleroassured El Eco Digital that the UCV has “the experience” and “the tools” to help the traditional neighborhood butcher shops in the interior of the country to “continue to survive” in the exchange context, as well as in the competition against to large surfaces.
The butchers’ union initiative arose after several consultations and requests for support from butcher shops across the country.
Faleroexplained that many of these queries are related to government announcements and procedures of all kinds, so it was decided to prepare a document that contains all the information in this regard, as well as instructions to access the different benefits.
Interior butcher shops do not access tax benefits for not being informed
Regarding this, he highlighted that many times inland butcher shops do not access benefits, whether financial or fiscal, because they are not properly informed of them.
