Rene Schielin’s men’s fashion store on Pühringerplatz in Grieskirchen is particularly known for high-quality suits. He is now moving part of his business premises to the Parz moated castle. “The preparations are already underway, and we will be at the new location from January 2024,” says Schielin in an interview with the Welser Zeitung.
As reported last week, there is a large construction project coming up at Pühringerplatz: The company “Staune Immobilien” from Neumarkt in the Hausruckkreis is planning a project in the direction of Trattnach on the site where one of Schielin’s two commercial buildings currently stands. He is now making room for that. But Schielin will not disappear from Grieskirchen city center: the location on the other side of the street between Roßmarkt and Stadtplatz will remain. As usual, ready-made goods are sold there.
Optimal conditions
In the future, custom-made items will be available on the lower floor of the Parz moated castle. The conditions there are optimal, says Schielin: “The beautiful ambience there is of course perfect for selling occasion fashion. There is also a spacious bar. Groups can retreat there “For example, we often accompany the groom when buying a wedding suit,” says Schielin. There is also the opportunity to look at fabrics in daylight on a terrace. “That sounds trivial, but it is a wish of many customers. They want to be sure that the suit really looks the way they imagine it,” explains Schielin.
How long he will stay in the moated castle is still uncertain: “We are already making arrangements so that we can be there permanently. But I have the option of moving back to the original location after the work is completed. I am in favor of that “I’m currently in discussions with the Staune company. But that remains to be seen,” says the businessman.
Overall, business is currently doing very well: “Perhaps one would expect something different given the overall economic situation. But we have made a name for ourselves over the years for quality, and luckily people still get married. And people want something good “We are crisis-resistant,” says Schielin.
