On October 16th, the Bad Schallerbach music summer starts the “Herbstlese” festival. Two great authors will read from their works on seven consecutive evenings. Each evening is rounded off and connected by musical contributions from an ensemble or individual artist. Each event begins at 7:30 p.m.
The writer couple begins Monika Helferwho reads from her novel “Lionheart,” and Michael Köhlmeierwho presents his new novel “Frankie”. Martin Gasselsberger plays his own compositions on the piano. OÖN columnist will follow on October 17th Christian Schacherreiter (“The Love Lives of Porcupines”) and Karl-Markus Gausswhich puts together a program of different genres and books.
Sarah Kuratle read along Günter Kaindlstorfer on October 18th, they will be accompanied by the Upper Austrians. Concert strumming.
The former Wels town clerk Stefan Kutzenberger stands with Wilfried Steiner on stage (October 19). Former Minister of Health Rudi Anschober (“Pandemia”) and Petra Ramsauer (“Fear) will be guests on October 20th. Tags to follow Franzobel and the actress Barbara Novotnythat for Sophie Reyer will read.
