The emergency medical helicopter was again in use in the Freistadt district on Wednesday evening. A 34-year-old fell in front of a house on a community street in Freistadt around 6 p.m. According to police, he hit the asphalt headfirst and sustained serious injuries. He was treated by an emergency doctor and then taken to a hospital. The helicopter in the Mühlviertel had already had to take a seriously injured person to the hospital that morning: an 89-year-old had rolled over in his car.
