Skillfully presenting yourself was the focus of the Braunau District Fire Department’s summer photo competition. What was needed were nice photos about the fire service that depict youth work. Numerous photos were taken and submitted. A jury consisting of district captain Gerald Kronberger, mayor’s spokesman Josef Leimer, section fire brigade commander Franz Baier and OÖN editor Magdalena Lagetar selected the best three entries.

The verdict was unanimous: the fire brigade youth from Thannstraß (municipality of Höhnhart) submitted the best photo. The young people can look forward to a balloon ride sponsored by the Maschinenring of the Innviertel region. The jury was also impressed by the dynamism of the photo submitted by the Achenlohe Fire Brigade Youth: Second place went to the municipality of Munderfing. The Hargassner company acts as a prize sponsor and invites the youth group and their supervisors to a lake cruise. The young firefighters from Teichstätt (municipality of Lengau) can look forward to VP tickets for the MIC Uttendorf stock car race including supplies: their photo was voted third place by the jury.
