1000 operations per year
The department’s team of doctors carries out around 1,000 surgical procedures per year. The range of services is broad and ranges from breast surgery to the reconstruction of seriously injured limbs. One of the biggest challenges is reconstruction, where Dieter Pögl and his team often find it extremely difficult to restore form and function after accidents, infections, tumor removals or congenital malformations.
Pögl lives in Pucking, is married and has two small children.
