The Hofstetten brewery won two gold medals and one bronze at the Austrian Beer Challenge.
More than 70 trained jurors can’t be wrong: They tasted the beers submitted for the Austrian Beer Challenge, the state championship for breweries and home brewers, and brought the Hofstetten brewery in St. Martin onto the podium three times. They are particularly proud of the first place for the Hofstettner Pils. “The Pilsner category is considered one of the most diverse in the entire challenge, which is why we are particularly pleased about the victory here,” says brewery boss Peter Krammer.
The New England Indian Pale (Friends NEIPA), which was brewed together with the Polish Browar Stu Mostów, also won gold in the “Modern Style IPAs” category. The Granit beer was awarded bronze in the “Vienna Lager” category. The competition is organized by BierIG.
