Rohrbach-Berg has been unbeaten in the East Regional League for six games. Coach Christian Eisschiel’s team is also the new league leader after the 2-1 win in St. Magdalena last week. Tomorrow Rohrbach-Berg’s kickers are going to the “Oktoberfest Derby” in Putzleinsdorf (kick-off: 5:30 p.m.). The two duels in the previous season went to the favorites 4:1 and 3:2. “It will definitely be a difficult task, we know our strengths, but we have to push the limits, we are also aware of that,” says Eisschiel. “We’re in a good mood, but we know that nothing is given to us for free.” With just one win from nine games, twelfth-placed Putzleinsdorf is a clear outsider tomorrow. “We want to defeat the Rohrbachers through our collective spirit and team spirit,” Putzleinsdorf coach Adis Mujkanovic believes in a surprise. He hopes for the return of injured regular players in the next few weeks. “That makes me positive that we’re getting back on track.” If the liberation strike against the leaders succeeds, the team could celebrate at the Oktoberfest that takes place afterwards.
SPG Pregarten is hoping for its second win of the season today in Mondsee. After the resignation of coach Samir Gradascevic, the coaching duo Dominik and Rainer Nimmervoll are supposed to lead the third-from-last team back to winning ways. Also playing today are St. Martin (in Micheldorf) and Union Perg (at home against SPG FC Wels / WSC Hertha 1b).
