An ox ran across a road and was hit by a car, thrown over the vehicle and injured so badly that it had to be slaughtered. The majority of the animals were quickly recaptured.
It was suspected that an animal was still hiding in a forest. Emergency services carried out a search operation using drones.
But on Friday it became clear that none of the cattle were missing because there had been an error when counting the cattle.
