Alert in France for a new “terrorist attack”
The French authorities increased the alert level yesterday after a “terrorist attack” at an institute in Arras, in Pas-de-Calaisin which a teacher was stabbed to death and two other people were injured.
The perpetrator of the attack, Mohammed Mogouchkova Russian of Chechen origin, about 20 years old, was registered in the national security registry and would have arrived in France in 2008.
According to the prefecture of the area, at the time of committing the crime, Mogouchkov shouted “Allah Akbar” (Allah is great, in English), a formal expression of faith used by Muslims and used by the perpetrators of the jihadist attacks that shook France in the last decade.
