At around 4:15 p.m., the Innviertel resident was driving his car in the pouring rain in the municipality of Andorf on the L 514 towards Lambrechten. because of the bad weather The driver lost control of his vehicle in a left-hand bend. It left the road to the right, hit a tree and, after rolling over several times, came to rest on its wheels in the meadow.
The 31-year-old was able to free himself from the vehicle but had to be taken to hospital with injuries. His dog was also slightly injured and was handed over to relatives.
