The butcher shops reached an agreement with the refrigerators to offer discounts of up to 40% on two cuts of meat throughout the month of October.
The boneless needle cuts and boneless shoulder cuts will see a reduction of more than 35%, as they will go from 370 pesos to 239 pesos per kilo (while supplies last). The UVC assured the press that this reduction represents a sacrifice for the butchers, since they must give up part of the profit.
However, it also means giving up money for the refrigeratorsthe vice president of the UVC assured Underrayado, Rafael Rodriguez.
Until now, the promotion will be available in associated butcher shops of the departments of cannelloni, Montevideo and Saint Josephas reported by the UVC.
