The second humanitarian flight of the Hercules 594 plane of the Uruguayan Air Force (FAU) has already arrived at Madrid Spain) from the city of Tel Aviv (Israel).
Unlike the first, this FAU mission will repatriate mostly Uruguayan citizens, but also Argentines, Spaniards and Peruvians.
The joint operation between Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRREE) is intended for the evacuation of Uruguayan citizens not resident in Israel of the war zone that this country maintains with the Palestinian organization Hamas.
The flight departed after 4:00 p.m. (Uruguayan time) this Monday with 75 evacuees (of which 25 are children), among whom are 52 Uruguayans and 23 foreigners, according to the Minister of National Defense. Javier Garciathrough his X account (formerly Twitter).
Garcia explained that the presence of foreigners in this second Tel Aviv-Madrid airlift is due to requests for humanitarian cooperation from said countries.

The government considers the possibility of evacuating Uruguayans residing in Israel
On the (Uruguayan) night of Saturday he arrived in Madrid the plane carrying 80 Uruguayans, who requested the Foreign Ministry to be repatriated to Uruguay.
