At around 5:30 p.m., the police officers became aware of the young man when he drove his small truck past a road divider in the opposite direction of travel in Neukirchen an der Vöckla in the Zipf area. When the patrol wanted to stop the 19-year-old driver, he ignored the horn and blue lights and continued racing towards Frankenburg at 106 km/h.
It was only after around two kilometers that the test driver’s license holder from the Grieskirchen district reacted to the attempts to stop. During the subsequent check, a preliminary test was positive for cannabis. The driver refused to be examined by a medical officer.
The 19-year-old’s driver’s license was confiscated on the spot. He is reported to the Vöcklabruck district administration for several violations.
