Antel launched Open Lab, a digital laboratory for initiatives with citizen impact

The state telecommunications company launched, on Tuesday, the Antel Open Laba digital technological development laboratory, which seeks to influence service improvements through technological solutions, for example, in areas of commercial logistics, using the network 5G.

The Minister of Industry, Omar Paganini, commented that the initiative was born in 2020, when they dreamed of an open laboratory that would allow innovative ideas to be developed. Later the idea underwent modifications based on the development achieved by Antel.

“Its execution capacity makes us see this project with auspicious eyes, it will surely be successful because behind it is Antel and we know that it delivers when it is proposed, as it has been demonstrating in recent years,” said the leader and added that “it is very good news” that Uruguay have an open laboratory for entrepreneurs and companies to develop new technologies associated with the system 5Gused for this a radio base that will work in the LATU.
